Google Health (retired January 1, 2012)

When Google Health was launched, the goal was to create a service that would give people access to their personal health and wellness information. Sadly Google Health did not get the traction that Google wanted for it. So as they killed it.

Born: Approximately February 28, 2008

On September 15, 2010 Google updated Google Health with a new look and feel. Then Just 9 short months later, On June 24, 2011 Google announced it was retiring Google Health in January 1, 2012

Igoogle

On April 30, 2007, Google introduced iGoogle to the world.

It was the new name for the Google Personalized Homepage (which was originally launched in 2005), and it was awesome.

You could personalize it with apps, pictures and all sorts of wonderful content. You could even create your own gadgets to do special things on it.

It was simple, but powerful.


On November 1, 2013, iGoogle was be "retired" (with a pension I hope).
